The last trough bridge has also been finished by SaVe. A real dashing exploit! With this, the railway viaduct of the Theemswegtracé is completely handed over to the client Port of Rotterdam.
This trough is the last of two adjacent curved, prestressed concrete trough bridges built in one year in a complex petrochemical area full of cables and pipes, full of infrastructure (A15, Havenspoorlijn, trunk road, cycle path) and partly on Stork/EQIN property. Clear road for our colleagues from VolkerRail! They have already installed the cables and pipes on the viaduct and are rolling out the ballast bed ‘as we speak’. Hollandia Infra built the 269-metre-long railway bridge over the Thomassen Tunnel as part of the contractor combination SaVe. SaVe consists of: Besix, DuraVermeer, MobilisTBI, Smulders and Hollandia.
