Commissioned by ProRail, Max Bögl will install a subway beneath the railway tracks in the Kanaalweg in Leiden. This subway will be placed right next to the swing bridge over the Rijn-Schiekanaal. To prevent any settlements that may occur as a result of this work from adversely affecting the safe readiness of the bridge, various management measures need to be taken to remedy the situation should such settlements occur. Max Bögl has asked Hollandia to carry this out for them. Simultaneously with these management measures, various parts of the mechanical control system will be upgraded to bring them back into optimum condition.
