Port of Den Helder has awarded Hollandia Services the contract for the renovation of the electrical, mechanical and control systems of the Van Kinsbergenbrug.
The bridge dates from 1958. As part of this contract, we will renew the bridge’s electrical and mechanical systems and its control system. This will ensure that the operating system can continue to function reliably in the years ahead.
Preparations for the project will start immediately. The renovation works are scheduled to take place in January and February 2027.
Port of Den Helder was supported by Iv-Infra in preparing the tender. Over the coming period, we will work together with Port of Den Helder, Iv-Infra and the other parties involved towards the implementation of the works.
