Maintenance on Wilhelminabridge

The Province of South Holland has awarded Hollandia with major maintenance work on the Wilhelmina Bridge (Leiden). The preparations and the CE process have started immediately. The implementation work on location is currently planned for the second and third quarter of 2022.

Major maintenance includes:

✔ Renewing a large part of the electromechanical drive
✔ Hoisting out and in the fall and the balance awls
✔ Preserving all steel parts
✔ Replacing the entire electrical (control) installation
✔ Replacing asphalt, wearing course and extension of the bridge

This bridge is no stranger to us. The spring buffers were recently replaced under the existing maintenance contract.
