This week, the first bridge section of the second new railway bridge at the Oostertoegang Amsterdam Centraal was successfully installed. Earlier this month, the bridge section departed from our Hollandia yard near Rotterdam and was transported to Amsterdam by water.
On behalf of ProRail, Dura Vermeer and Mammoet installed the first bridge section of the new railway bridge at the Oostertoegang. A remarkable precision operation.
The second and third bridge sections will follow in the coming weeks. Together, they will form the second new railway bridge over the Oostertoegang. The new railway bridges (four steel and one concrete) will replace the existing bridges, which have reached the end of their service life.
