On Saturday, 18 April 2026, the renewed Cruquius Bridges were officially opened in the presence of a large number of attendees. Together with the parties closely involved in the project, we marked this special milestone and celebrated the successful completion of the project with local residents and stakeholders.
The completely renewed bridge towards Heemstede, the extensively renovated bridge towards Hoofddorp and the new cycle underpass are now officially in use. With these improvements, an important regional transport link is ready for the future. A result to be proud of.
