Commissioned by the Province of South Holland, we have been responsible since 1 January, together with technical service provider Croonwolter&dros and engineering consultancy Arcadis, for the management and maintenance of more than 90 infrastructure assets in the province of South Holland. These include movable bridges, locks and control centres.
At the beginning of January, we started the first maintenance round. Six times a year, we carry out a range of maintenance activities in the fields of mechanical engineering, civil engineering and E&I (Electrical, Instrumentation & Automation). In doing so, we ensure that the assets remain safe and operational. In addition, we respond to malfunctions and emergencies. The province also invites us to implement process and product innovations and to proactively contribute ideas for optimising management and maintenance.
We carry out these activities through Consortium Sherpa: a collaboration between Croonwolter&dros, Hollandia Services and Arcadis, in which we strengthen each other and work together to keep Dutch infrastructure available and operational. Over a period of ten years, we are joining forces for infrastructure assets in South Holland, together with our cooperation partner Electronic Power Control (EPC) B.V.
