On Friday 20 December, Hollandia Services, together with the client, the Municipality of The Hague, officially opened the Boekhorst Bridge. The occasion was marked by kind words from the municipality’s project manager, a warm cup of coffee, and – how could it be otherwise at this time of year – a traditional Dutch treat: oliebollen.
After the final equipment was removed and a short walk across the bridge, it was opened to pedestrians and traffic. The first motorists were more than happy to make use of the opportunity.
The Municipality of The Hague expressed its satisfaction with the progress of the works and the results achieved. We were able to carry out our work in a pleasant team atmosphere. Together with the municipality, we developed effective solutions to a number of challenges.
