Hollandia Infra has received an order from Combinatie Herepoort to replace the Hoge Euvelgunnerbrug in Groningen. The replacement of this bridge on the A7 motorway is part of the long-term project Aanpak Ring Zuid (AZR) in Groningen.
After being involved in the design of Combinatie Herepoort for quite some time, we have now also been commissioned to build a new double bascule bridge. Hollandia Infra is responsible for the execution design and realisation of the bridge, including the hydraulic drive and the complete technical installations, which we will perform together with subcontractors Bosch Rexroth and ENGIE Services Nederland NV. We will start assembling the new bridge in the summer of 2022 (within the 6-week motorway closure period that has already been announced).
