First cable drum Hollandsche IJssel barrier on transport

Very impressive! The first cable drum for the Hollandsche IJssel barrier has been transported by Breman Machinery B.V. to the Hollandia shipyard in Krimpen aan den IJssel. A true milestone! The second drum will follow soon. After that, the test set-up can be built up for an integral test of the drives. Work on site will start in week 14.

It promises to be an exciting time, both for the Hollandia Services team and for the client Rijkswaterstaat.
