Lock IV Haghorst is like new again. The monumental banjonet lock was closed from 4 October to 4 November for maintenance work.
During the renovation, the heads of the locks were drained. This allowed the doors of the lower and upper head to be lifted out for inspection. Among other things, the masonry was repaired here. The bottom pivot points of the wooden lock gates and the seat of the gripping point of the door cylinder were also replaced immediately. The doors themselves were provided with new sealing wood.
