On 1 November the Croonwolter&dros and Hollandia Services combination started the renovation of the Ketelsluis lock at Dronten. Work on the Kampersluis had been completed earlier (on 29 October).
The leveling gates and hydraulic drives of the Ketelsluis will be replaced, together with the electromechanical door and bridge drives. The team will be working on this job until the end of 2021.
The work is being carried out on behalf of the Province of Flevoland as part of the Major Maintenance of Bridges and Locks (GOBS). In total, 16 objects will be renovated in the period 2020 to 2023.
