The WBL had the need to carry out a number of modifications and renovations at the RWZI Limmel. Hollandia Systems was the main contractor and coordinated the entire work, including disciplines C and E.
– Renovation of receivers work and influent pumping station
– Renovation of the grate disposal system (Passavent Geiger), sand trap and sand washer;
– Renovation of storage settling basin, pre-sedimentation tank and post-sedimentation tanks 1 and 2;
– Replacement of FeCl3 dosing installation and sampling houses;
– Companies temporary installations
“A characteristic feature of this project was that the purification had to remain in operation during the renovation period of the influent jacks, replacement of the screenings installation and renovation of the sand collection / pre-sedimentation tanks. For this purpose, a temporary pump installation and a temporary screen installation were installed, operated and maintained. During the first 4 weeks, the processing capacity of the temporary pump installation and temporary raking grid installation had to be at least 4,150 m3/hour. During the next 3 weeks the capacity had to be at least 6,510 m3/hour. This is our largest temporary installation so far. Hollandia Systems was main contractor and coordinated the entire work. “
