We prefabricated the two units, including the turbine and the solar panels, and installed them as one unit on the roof. The size of the units is 12 x 7 x 5 metres (LxWxH) with a total weight of 24 tonnes. An important point of attention is, that during this assignment the visitors of the musical ‘Soldaat van Oranje’ would not be hindered by the assembly work, which took about 5 weeks. We successfully completed the job at the end of week 45.
IBIS Power Units
Commissioned by IBIS Power, Industrial has mounted an IBIS PowerNEST on the roof of the Theater Hangaar in Katwijk (known from the musical, ‘Soldaat van Oranje’). IBIS PowerNEST is a pioneering solution that provides the energy needed for high-rise buildings. The system uses both wind and sun, integrated into a single solution, and thus generates as much energy as possible on the limited roof space of high-rise buildings.
