From 2013 to 2015, Rijkswaterstaat is renovating the Galecopper bridge, part of the A12 near Utrecht. The bridge will be strengthened and the road surface renewed. By jacking up the bridge (pushing it up), the vertical clearance will be a few dozen centimetres higher.
