After many setbacks on site, our team managed to successfully install the first section of Battersea Bridge. The setbacks were mainly caused by the weather conditions in London last week. This meant that not enough lifting could take place due to the wind being too strong at the construction site. Fortunately, this afternoon there was a windless period and the first section was hoisted.

Despite many “wind off” days, our team succeeded in placing the fifth bridge section and thus making the connection between the two phases on the site. Now all that remains is to finish the bridge deck and deliver the complete bridge for the concrete pour!
