New Children’s Hospital, Dublin, Ireland
In the heart of Dublin city centre, Ireland, BAM Building realizes the New Children’s Hospital on behalf of the National Paediatric Hospital Development board. This new children’s hospital has an area of 160,000 m2 and space for 6,150 rooms. Hollandia Structures supplies all steel parts.
This includes all elevator shafts, stairwells, walkways, the steel roof construction with trusses in front of the theatre and the curved roof construction, a total of about 2,200 tons of steel. There is a lot of visible steelwork that must meet strict architectural requirements. The expected completion date is the end of 2021.
